From the front of the park to the Oregon Dunes riding area is a short 0.6 mile ride. Some campers have concerns about this ride which is partly sand, partly gravel, and partly asphalt. There are campgrounds with closer access but none offer full service camping and year round access without the need to hook up your trailer.
